AbstractA neutron star is a gold mine for the study of physical phenomena that cut across a variety of disciplines, from particle physics to general relativity. In this presentation I will concentrate on the enormous impact that nuclear observables - such as the neutron skin of heavy nuclei and their collective excitations - may have on a host of neutron-star observables.
