Abstract

The surprising discovery of Fe-based superconductors introduces many new puzzles in the quest for high-temperature superconductors. In this talk, we will examine the rich magnetic structure of Fe-based superconductors and their important implications, specifically, the inadequacy of the popular mean-field like theories. Then, a quick survey of recent surprising theoretical findings of effects of disordered impurities will be presented, highlighting the crucial need for systematic investigations.
