Overview
The Mass Spectrometry Surface Sampling and Imaging Center, a subdivision of the Organic & Biological Mass Spectrometry Group, at Oak Ridge National Laboratory conducts fundamental and applied research on the processes and technology at the interface between mass spectrometry and substrates of interest. Regardless of whether these substrate surfaces are analytical, pharmaceutical, or environmental; chemical imaging enables addressing basic issues in science. The Center brings together instruments and researchers to innovate tools and approaches that can address the challenges of the DOE and serve the needs of the nation as a whole.

Our Projects
Liquid Extraction Probes
Thermal Desorption Probes
Laser Desorption Probes
Commercial Probes
Workflow Interfacing
