Areas of Research:

Electrochemical energy conversion and energy storage in: thermal batteries, primary lithium batteries, lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors, ultracapacitors and redox flow batteries. Charge transfer processes in molten salts, ionic liquids and aprotic solvents. Passivation reactions, mediated reactions, porous electrodes and complex impedance analysis.
