Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Sustainable Transportation Program (STP) brings together science and technology experts from across scientific disciplines to partner with government and industry in addressing transportation challenges. Innovations in transportation are critical to boosting America’s economy, reducing US dependence on foreign oil, benefitting the environment, and improving national energy security. ORNL is one of the world’s most capable resources for transforming the next generation of scientific discovery into solutions for revitalizing America’s transportation industries.
There are several ways for industry and academia to access STP expertise and facilities, including user agreements, sponsored research, and cooperative research and development agreements. These options provide varying amounts of protection for proprietary information and data. An overview of these collaborative agreements can be found here.
