These brochures provide insight into how Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Building Technologies Research and Integration Center (BTRIC) and four associated Centers of Excellence – Building Envelope, Building Equipment, System/Building Integration, and Building Technologies Deployment – apply multidisciplinary science and technology expertise, state-of-the-art facilities, and partnership mechanisms to accelerate building energy efficiency solutions from concept to commercialization. BTRIC’s unique experimental capabilities, laboratories, tools, and apparatuses are accessible to industry, universities, and other ORNL collaborators. This enables ORNL to spur economic vitality and job creation through innovations that provide more energy-efficient building components, systems, and whole-buildings.
