Bob Quinn performs a mass flow calibration

ORNL Metrology Laboratory (ORNL ML) maintains a variety of gas flow standards traceable to SI (International System of Units) through the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and other international primary laboratories. These standards generate and measure various gas flow properties required to perform traceable calibrations of our customers’ instruments and equipment. ORNL ML can provide accredited calibrations for any gas flow parameter within the ranges detailed in our Scope of Accreditation. However, traceable non-accredited calibrations are available for gas flow parameters outside of our Scope of Accreditation. The tables below list our capabilities. Gas flow rotameters and flowmeters, laminar flow elements, mass flow controllers and meters, and Bubble-O-Meters are instruments that can be calibrated at ORNL ML. If you have questions about our gas flow capabilities, please contact the ORNL Metrology Laboratory for more information.
